What Is the Proof of Life Certificate?
The Proof of Life Certificate is a new NADRA-issued document that pensioners use to confirm they are alive, which is often required by pension-disbursing departments to continue releasing pension payments. It is issued free of cost.
How to Apply Online (No Own Account Needed)
The certificate can be generated through Pak-Identity. If the pensioner does not have their own online account, a blood relative — such as a son, daughter, sister, or wife — can generate it using their own account by entering the pensioner's CNIC number.
Log in to Pak-Identity: A blood relative (son, daughter, sister, wife, etc.) logs into their own Pak-Identity account.
Enter the pensioner's CNIC number: The relative enters the pensioner's CNIC number in the relevant section to request the certificate.
Certificate generated free of cost: The Proof of Life Certificate is issued at no charge, directly from home.
Alternative: Apply In Person
Nearest NRC Office: Pensioners can visit any NADRA Registration Center to get the certificate issued in person.
NADRA e-Sahulat Franchise: The certificate can also be obtained through any authorized NADRA e-Sahulat franchise outlet.
Note: This is free of cost through all three methods — online via Pak-Identity, at an NRC office, or at an e-Sahulat franchise. No fee should be charged for this certificate.
